2 Lessons from 2020

A New Beginning

My very first post…after the first winter rain and autumn new moon. 

This is the very beginning of my new blog on my new website!
Just as in nature, we and our life is governed by cycles. Solar cycles, moon cycles and so on…

With 2 months left until the year ends, 2020 has surely been a set of crazy cycles whether locally in Lebanon or on a global front. 

2 lessons that I learned and would like to share:

1. When everything shuts down on the outside, we don’t have to shut down on the inside as well. Keeping ourself open with gratitude works wonders. Whether in design, art or life in general, I learned that everything we need is really inside of ourselves. With dedicated spiritual tools (I personally practice Isha Yoga and meditation – for example), one can smoothly move through major crisis happening outside in the world. 

2. The path to creativity is hindered by procrastination! 2020 is also where I found my path to express with art and even venture into silver jewelry design related to “cycles” (photos coming soon). A reminder that no matter what happens, one must not delay art expression or anything one is passionate about creating. This is also why I launched this website even though it’s not yet complete. 

The hardest blogpost is now made; the first one!

I hope you will enjoy what I will offer on this platform from art, design, jewelry and more inspiration from nature…
