Open to Transformation. New Year, New You.
“I attune my outer life and my inner soul
to the infallible rhythm of the Moon,
who monthly empties, is reborn, and grows full.”
Dana Gerhardt
We have acquired a new perspective from all that we journeyed last year. Capricorn transits ask us to review all the structures that support us so we can take responsibility for addressing weaknesses and build something lasting, knowing it’s based on strong foundations.
It has been a year of rollercoasters, where we made choices coming from the inner voice of our Soul rather than from external conditionings.
As we contemplate the structures that have held our lives and societies in place, we may find ourselves reflecting on the fundamentals that create our worlds.
Amidst the outward chaos, we are reminded to make time for inner reflection.
On our wounds, let’s add love and acceptance, as we recall all the experiences that made us who we are…
Bless the past and return to focus on the NOW. Let’s embrace the newness of the present unfolding… All the sentient beings, the Earth, Creation, our inner selves and each other – Bless all.
May this new year enrich the inner landscapes of our Soul.

Tanishka from themoonwoman.com shares:
“Physically: Capricorn rules bones and joints so if you’ve been feeling tight and sore consider how you can better support the physical structure within the body that’s doing its best to support you. Ask yourself, ‘Do I need to walk every day, do yoga or see an osteopath once a month to maintain the integrity of your skeletal alignment?’
Financially: Capricorn conserves what it has to incrementally create stability so ask yourself, ‘Do I have a savings plan in place so I can create a buffer to allow for the unexpected rather than just winging it week to week?’
Emotionally: Capricorn becomes hyper critical when not balanced by the opposite sign of Cancer, who creates emotional support through the collective strength of community. So ask yourself, ‘Do I have a monthly community support that provides me with a safe space to feel and process the emotions evoked by my life experiences? Or do they accumulate and create overwhelm that results in reactivity and emotional meltdowns?’
Mentally: Capricorn is the sign of commitment. We experience anxiety about making the wrong choice without experiential wisdom to allay our fears. So consider asking yourself, ‘Do I create unnecessary stress by not seeking the guidance of a mentor who can assist me in the areas of my life I lack knowledge and confidence?’
Energetically: Capricorn is the hardest working of all the signs but we risk burn our if we don’t observe the cyclic wisdom of the opposite sign, Cancer who teaches us to create cyclic routines that support us to produce sustainably. So ask yourself, ‘Am I undermining my energy levels by staying up late and not getting enough sleep?’
Relationships: Capricorn is the typically most cautious to enter relationships as it is in for the long haul so if you have a pattern of crashing and burning by entering relationships on turbo boost fuelled by passion, consider taking it slow and enjoying a courtship to build a foundation of trust.
Work: Just as we outgrow clothes and shoes, we mature and what was once interesting loses its appeal, so we need to periodically review whether our work life is fulfilling or a burden we endure. If self-employed, Capricorn invites us to review whether the structure of our enterprise is stable enough to allow for growth or whether we need to acknowledge and address what isn’t working.
Time: Capricorn is the most productive of all the signs because it uses its time well so if you struggle with internal structuring consider setting alarms on your phone to structure your day into two hour blocks that address all your needs. Having a set time for tasks makes it easier to honour your commitment to yourself before trying to accommodate those of others.”

Pam Younghans from northpointastrology.com says:
“VENUS also changes signs on Friday, moving from hopeful Sagittarius to realistic Capricorn. Venus, named for the goddess of Love, is the planetary representative of relationships, values, and financial matters…”
“Given the current landscape, it makes sense that while Venus transits Capricorn (January 8 to February 1), we will be coming to terms with economic realities and become more security-conscious than we have been for the past few weeks. This may also be a time of looking more seriously at certain relationships, observing what does and doesn’t work for us. It can be a time either of renewed commitment or of endings, depending on our answers to some tough questions.”

“Capricorn is a sign of success and hard work. it’s also a sign of the past, the old, the familiar and the known. this is a great new moon to get more disciplined, focused and success/work oriented!”
“Capricorn represents governments, big business and the established powers that be. much change is incoming in regards to these collective areas of life- as anything toxic, stagnant or stuck will show itself for what it is this year.”
“…on a more personal level where capricorn is in our natal charts is where we are being asked to purge, release and uplevel our experience. this will not be easy- and this will be the area of life that challenges us the most in the coming year. so this new moon is an initiator of the lessons, growth and evolution asked of us. this is an important lunation to pay attention to what is being seeded or set into motion in our personal lives and collective lives. what is present right now is the Universe giving us sign posts about what is down the road- so pay attention!”

“I was no longer needing to be special, because I was no longer so caught in my puny separateness that had to keep proving I was something.
“I was part of the universe, like a tree is, or like grass is, or like water is.
“Like storms, like roses. I was just part of it all.
“I had my unique function to play.
“I could see from there that everything had a unique form – it was all just lawfully playing with each other.
“All forms were related lawfully, I could see which ‘me’ in form was part of the law. Nothing more, nothing less.
“It was no big deal, and yet it was very precious.”
